Are you interested in maintaining a strong and healthy smile at work? If so, our dentists, Drs. Sefcik, Andrews and Andrews, are more than happy to help you. Unfortunately, there are many things at work that can harm the smile. It’s best to avoid them altogether and do your best to keep your teeth and gums in tip-top shape. To help you, our dentists are happy to give you some tips. For a healthy smile at work, it’s best to do the following things:
-Brush your teeth after lunch: To do this, you need to pack your toothbrush each day or you need to keep a separate toothbrush in your desk at work. Don’t forget the toothpaste! Make sure to brush your teeth after lunch to remove the food particles from the smile and to keep your teeth and gums clean and healthy.
-Don’t use your teeth as tools: If you use your teeth to open packages, rip off tags and more, it can cause tooth fractures. It’s best to avoid doing these things as much as possible. Keep handy tools around like package openers and scissors.
-Pack a tooth-healthy lunch: Include foods that are healthy for the teeth, like fruits, vegetables, protein and dairy products. Try to avoid sugary and acidic foods and beverages.
